Thanksgiving 2007

Happy Thanksgiving to All:
Mine was great. the kids; Rob, Lisa, Talia and Vinnie were here for the week, and we had a blast.

Toured Hoover Dam;

Did some geo-caching along the way. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's like a treasure hunt using a gps..............

After touring the Dam, we headed for Las Vegas to experience the night lights........

and experience Fremont Street;

although we were slightly disappointed with the light show, it was still quite an experience for the grandkids.

We also spent a day in Oatman, home of the wild burros, and the grandkids had a blast feeding them. This time Vinnie enjoyed it also.........

This baby burro is only a month old............

They also got to meet the new man in my life, Jim. (Jim's picture in on Rob's blog "Tatoshka"........ )

I hope that every one had as good of a Thanksgiving as I did.....

Sorry

Sorry that I haven't kept this updated, but I've been busy.............

My little bud is no longer with me, had to send him back, couldn't handle the allergies.

I've finally retired permanently, and am enjoying the retired life, floating in the pool catching rays and fishing.

Will try to do better in the future

I'm not spoiled already

Just because I have my own paper towel holder doesn't mean I'm spoiled in the least, it's just cause she doesn't want me on the counters......

New Family Member

Meet my little "Bub", don't ask my why, I just wanted some company an actually I was looking for a small dog, but when I walked into the animal shelter, Bud stuck his paw through the bars on his cage and started talking to me just like "Miss P...." use to and I just couldn't help myself.

He goes Tuesday to have his "man hood" taken care of, all I need is for him to start marking things.

wild weather

Rob's neighbors, shortly after the cemetary. Had high winds and hail. What a day.
Had to call the fire department to get it down, those are live power lines.

Peace at last

Still Kicking

I didn't realize how long it has been since I've last posted. Boy has alot been going on.

Hubby has been diagnosed with liver cancer, and we are on the last leg of the journey, and what a tough one it has been.

All the kids except for two of them were here this weekend, James will be here Monday night and I don't think Na will be able to make it down.

I've taken a leave of absence from work for the time being so that I can do what has to be done.

Will post more later.
