EDICK, ADRIAN R. Adrian R. Edick lost his long battle with cancer and went to his final rest on March 12, 2007 in Bullhead City, Arizona, where he was residing with his second wife Maneta. Adrian was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 24, 1938 to Marion and Margaret Edick. Adrian was retired U.S. Navy after 20 years in 1971, and had also retired from San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station in 1993. Adrian was a Past Commander and life member of Fred L. Kent VFW Post 7907, in Poway, CA. He resided in Poway from 1971 to 1993 and again in 2002/2003. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mildred (Taylor) Edick, whom he married in August of 1966. He is survived by his three children; son James (Johanna) Edick of Jersey City, NJ; daughters Tammie (Frank) McGill of Warner Springs, CA, and Tania (Kevin) Doran of Las Vegas, NV; stepsons Robert (Lisa) Bencivenga of Escondido, CA, and Dennis (Sheila) Bencivenga of San Diego, CA, and stepdaughter Nadine Bencivenga of Ashland, OR. He is also survived by six grandchildren Josh, Theresa, Cheyenne, Talia, Vincent and Jasper. He is survived by his sisters Luria (Dennis) Anderson of Fruitport, MI, and Shelly (Dan) Chambers of Grand Rapids, MI; brothers Al (Maureen) Edick of Etowah, NC, Arnie (Nancy) Edick of Muskegon, MI, and Roger (Judy) Edick of Spring Lake, MI, and numerous nieces and nephews. Our beloved father and friend will be greatly missed, may he rest in peace.
